Here is an analysis of the situation in Detroit at Superbowl XL (I think that means extra large).
My expectation is that the Hawks will come out and score some points. As a matter of fact, I believe that their strategy will be to score more points than the Steelers. If the Hawks can get ahead early, Ben Rothchild will be feeling the pressure and will make some bad decisions. He'll be surprised at just how fast and swarming the Hawks defense is. They're
birds for goodness sake! The Doofdaddy says everybody is acting like the Steelers are the '85 Bears. They're not. As a matter of fact,
Lloyd Bentsen released a statement saying, "Steelers, I served with the '85 Bears, I knew the '85 Bears, the '85 Bears were friends of mine. Steelers, you are no '85 Bears". Way to go Bentsen! I hear
Robert Guillaume once played him on TV. But I digress. The Steelers beat Cincy but only after wiping out the starting QB, and it took them a while to get past Kitna, a former Seahawk! They barely beat Indy even after taking a 20 point lead. They beat Denver, but Denver was able to get close in the 4th quarter. Had there been a 5th quarter, Denver might have won. If that had happened, they wouldn't have made it to the Superbowl. And had they not made it to the Superbowl, they would have even less of a chance of winning it. Think about it! Througout the season good teams were able to hang with them and score. As far as the Hawks go, they were never beaten down by a team. Even in their losses, they were all winnable games for them. Had they not lost those, they would have won them. Then they'd be undefeated. Plus, had Pittsburgh lost all their games, they would have wound up having a winless season. And that's why the Seahawks will win.
